  • Once we have travelled through Pernera, Protaras and Ayia Napa we head towards the more traditional areas.
  • We take you to the new Marina on the outskirts of Ayia Napa, then on to see one of the oldest churches on the island located on the coastline. Take in the views of the Mediterranean and learn about the influence of Pirates many centuries ago, see fish farms and traditional fishing boats moored in a picturesque estuary before heading inland towards the Divided Line.
  • We tell you about the local products that make Cyprus famous including the delicious Cyprus potato.
  • The Original Red Bus will take you to the villages of Liopetri, Avgorou,Vrysoulles, Frenaros and Dherynia telling you about their traditions and cultures. Learn about the many evening festivals celebrated in Cyprus, the cost of living and places to revisit.
  • Cyprus has a long line of history and as we meander around the area you will get to see the old churches and memorials from the 1950s conflict leading up to the conflict of 1974. Many tourist are not aware of the invasion of this island in 1974 which has changed its political landscape and still continues be a talking point.
  • Cyprus has now been divided or partitioned for over 45 years and we take you along this Divided Line, today it is still patrolled by the military 365 days a year, you will witness the military from both sides Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot. Achna Village is located on the Divided Line.
  • Most tourist have heard of Famagusta (Varosha) with its deserted hotels, Achna was home for many Cypriots and has suffered the same fate. This village has been empty since 1974, you can still see the empty homes and abandoned cemetery, no flowers have been laid on these graves for over 45 years.
  • The UN have priority control over this area and on a daily basis the UN helicopters fly over.
  • We leave the Divided Line and The Original Red Bus will then take you to a viewpoint of Varosha (Deserted holiday resort), this viewpoint is on the south side of the island and the second closest viewpoint, The Famagusta Tour will take you even closer.
